A Kickstarter modular wood-burning rocket stove – your thoughts?

10 years before the Honey Stove there was the little Dandy ,usually called the "Nomad" after its maker, Nimblewill Nomad.
There are several other similar types, for example the Ember Lit ,the FireFly and the earlier Wild Wood 1 (Makaira Metalworks)
Still they are all different, some more modular than others and this rocket stove more so than most.

I don't think that the Honey or Dandy ever claimed to be gasifier stoves, did they? That's the big questions- is it really a gasifier stove? Lots of wood stoves claim to be, but really aren't. TD at least gets points for admitting that their inner cone doesn't really lead to a true gasifier. Truth in advertising counts, in my book.
