Sawyer Squeeze $36 (16, 32 and 64 oz pouches) and $26 (32oz pouch)

Thanks for the post. I have been on the fence about Sawyers and this tipped the scales.

What is shipping? Amazon with free shipping is $34.50 I believe for the single bag and filter.

Yeah, It would have saved me $10 off buying it fro REI including shipping but at least there I can sent it back for a year if the bags blow.

True, that is one reason to buy from REI. Dog chewed several holes into something you bought before you accidentally set fire to it then dragged it behind you car to extinguish the flames? No problem. REI is great.

The shipping for one is like $4.90 so not a crazy amount, but it does eat out of the savings. I bought a whole load of them to give to family so the shipping was very small amount compared to the savings.

I use a one pouch version for myself. I'd much rather spend the extra money on the adaptor kit which allows you to connect hoses etc as this makes the filter so much more versatile. Plus I already have a platypus bottle which I trust a bit more than the included pouches anyway.

The new 2013 pouches are really nice. They're just as thick, if not thicker than my platypus bag. Miles better than the older Sawyer bags. I've got all three (platy, new Sawyers, old sawyers) and the new sawyers feel the most bomber.
