Nice spout, I had to pay extra for my Ti kettle to have one.

If you really want to fix it I'd be a little careful with the rock describe above or you will have a bigger problem to deal with.
You can take two boards, one in the shape of the pan and pound with the other bending it back into shape, but I would just leave it, its a bonus that you didn't have to make the spout yourself.

This seams to be happening a little more than it has in the past, I had two dirty sleeping bags show up last month and they were suppose to have been washed. Lucky for you it seem to be a good thing.

I wondered if it was a joke as well. I am guessing it is not.

In any case, I'll say that I find the spout on mine to be a very nice feature. My daughter actually commented on how nice the pot was on our recent trip, specifically mentioning the spout as part of the nice design.
