Another big +1. This has been on my mind lately, and the same could also be said with regards to the dietary habits of our kids.
So far, 2013 is starting out well.

You make a very good point about parents being in charge of buying distracting indoor/electronic toys, rather than taking them out hiking/playing…although it is a bit uncomfortable to feel the finger pointing at me. Guess I need to do a father/son/daughter trip soon, like Eugene's recent example.
