Well early this spring my total pack weight averaged 35lbs. After finding this site and reading and doing lots of searching my now average weight is 22lbs. Making backpacking as a father with scout troop that much more enjoyable. Hoping for 1 last gear upgrade is to ditch the doghouse sized bivy tent and upgrade to a 2 man sized tarptent
So much better isn't it!?
