hey man, i hope you dont get a paper cut at your work & realise you didnt bring your first aid kit with you, pray you dont bleed out

Some of these quick clotting agents cause thermal reactions, and can create a 2nd or 3rd degree burn at the wound sure. I wouldn't want a festering burn in the back country.

I would just carry super glue, personally. You can seal up small gashes or punctures. To treat a major wound would require more then a quarter ounce of glue or your stuff – the individual army kit quik clots are I believe 3 or 4 oz packets?

the army now issues guaze with Quik Clot infused into them. they are 3IN X 4YDS and the package(vacuum sealed) only weighs 0.9ozs. It is made by Combat Medical Systems.
