Backpack

hello im new to lightweight backpacking and im down to trying to figure out what pack i want and i cant seem to figure it out so if anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate it… mostly for weekend trips and overnighters…i dont tend to take a whole lot of gear so i dont need anything too big.

A list of the gear you have that you want to put in there would be helpful. All your trips in OR? No need for bear canister compatibility. What pack(if any) are you using now?

i was using a north face terra 60l and i never filled it even when i wasnt trying to hike light…

as for gear so far i have

tarptent double rainbow

exped ul7

mh phantom 32

1.3 lt pot with ti tri

sawyer inline, platy bags

montbell ul inner

and the usual clothing layers, food and small stuff like first aid and so on

like i said not alot of gear. and yes, i dont think i will ever use a bear bag not any time soon anyway…

I use an ULA Ohm for similar volume loads and like it. Size wise should be a good fit. Now if it fits you comfortably that is another issue all together.
