No shipping confirmation for me either, but the current status of my order is "We have Received your Order," so I've got that going for me.

I sent in an email today asking if they could give me an e.t.a. They said it should ship either today or tomorrow. Since I didn't receive tracking today, maybe it'll ship tomorrow. I assume the 5-7 days is business days. If I get word it shipped I will let you guys know.

ive ordered from them before and they take forever, 5-7 business days means two weeks.

I received my tracking number today. So now I wait…. more :) Hope all goes well for the rest that ordered.

Ordered mine a few days ago. I don't mind waiting because the price blows everyone else away and I don't need the stove soon. I'm a little apprehensive because the deal is almost too good.

well, added it to my cart and the coupon wouldn't work so I talked to customer service. they said the coupon is not good on this item, wonder when that changed…. boo.

I tried to purchase one tonight, but the O2ups15 code didn't work. I did a online chat with them to see if the coupon was expired and was told that it couldn't be used with all manufacturers. Jetboil is one of the restricted manufacturers.

I got shipping confirmation today, UPS ground scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Living close to Wisconsin has its benefits every once in a while…

me too, got shipping email says with UPS and in California due in a week.

Glad to see the shipping notice and not some apology, a concern I had with the on/off out-of-stock episodes.

The price isn't the best we've seen in Gear Deals, someone said they got a members-only offer from one dealer and a coupon code then took it down to $90. Ouch.

Still, I think with the issues with the Jetboil, I'd not pay $149+tax in my local store, happy with the $101 we all paid to O2Gearshop, because if I don't like and sell then I need only sell for $101 to break-even and walk away with some wisdom.

I have a number of worries, in my case coming from a Trangia 27 stove, the Jetboil being over 1Kg lighter when factoring fuel for a 5 day trip

– ability to get low heat for simmering
– Ti and burning food at the bottom
– stirring in a tall/wide pot shape (and impact on burning)
– 0.8L being a bit too small, I've stirred foods out of a 1L pot
– fuel rationing, not knowing how much fuel left, rationing too little vs too much
– stability of the stack when stirring

I have to re-learn my cooking habits but some of these issues are core to the Jetboil Sol Ti.

Note the Jetboil does one thing well, boil water fast, hence its name, the Sol Ti just takes it into a lighter zone where it wins more of the BPL arguments.

Due at my house on Saturday, but I thought UPS didn't deliver on weekends?

Received my shipping confirmation last night, but no tracking number… Oh well, as long as it's on the way.

Nigel, couldn't agree with you more. I was on the fence with the Sol Ti, but at that price I feel confident that I can get my money back if it doesn't work out. $100 is a great deal!

Please let us know what you guys think of it. I can still find it for $115 or so. Probably wont need it this year but…

obviously reviews won't be in the geardeals forums….

So if you want to get the best price then, as someone from the UK now in USA, who is beginning to guy gear in USA, from trawling this forum seems the best approach is subscribe to many of the outdoors online shops to get member specials and keep an eye on BPL geardeal forums.

There was a deal for the Sol Ti for $90 applying all of the above.

Another offer will be along in a few months and if you're ambivalent about the Sol Ti, patience will find the deal again eventually.

Mine delivered today in northern California. Quite a tortuous postage procedure, UPS to USPS, took a week.

I did a test, 500ml of tap water done in my house, 1m47s to rolling boil at max flame.

So far, very pleased, I think this one is a keeper!

Consider yourself lucky Nigel. Mine went from ups to USPS to lost in space. I'm handling the claim with o2 and USPS as we speak

Edit* O2 has been exceptional in their response to my issue. They followed up with USPS, and discovered that the usps scanners were a bit screwy, scanning packages that were arriving to their facility as having been already delivered. My package is supposedly out for delivery today. Here's hoping for the best!

JB's website indicates 1/4" gap for their piezeo…their tech support says this is wrong for Sol Ti…should be 1/8". Below is JB's guidance graphic on the subject, but bring a Bic!JB's igniter for Sol Ti
