Congratulations DLB! The world of backpacking light or otherwise will never be (re)viewed the same again.

+2 (or wherever we are now) on providing text for podcasts. Some of us prefer reading to listening and taking (probably inaccurate) notes! For many of us, reading is faster. As mentioned, having the text lets us search later, too. Let's have the best of both worlds!

Excellent news, Chris! I'm really looking forward to 'Exploration of Other Modes of Backcountry Travel'. I hope you will continue and/or expand BPL's coverage of snowshoes (and snowshoeing).

Chris, good for you. I like the "long-term test drive" idea and the posting about the equipment as it is used. Really like many of the other ideas as well and I hope that all at BPL will get behind them and produce some stellar content. I know that you all have a lot to give. Can't wait to start receiving it.
