    The meadows were lakes and 30% of the trails were covered in snow. The Emigrant looked like a land of lakes in late July 2011. I captured 8 gigs and put it into a short video: http://walkifornia.blogspot.com/LakeStarsTrouthttp://walkifornia.blogspot.com/

    By the looks of this year's weather in California, you might want to get up there in late May to get a little snow. Seeing the Emigrant in transition is seeing Emigrant at its best. Pictures below:
