From the thread title, I thought I was going see roasted scorpins.
But, cool. Nice menu planning.
At UC Berkeley's Hiking Club, we'd do two "Gourmet Trips" each year. There were rules, dress codes, and stupid human tricks. A friend brought live lobsters one time.
Looks really good. I'll have to try that. .. Two years ago I grilled shrimp up on Springer Mtn.
You guys are classy. I'm sure the time out in the Mojave was quality for both families; not a bad way to start the new calendar year.
