I see a lot of people using ripstop nylon or variations for their hammock for sturdiness reasons (I guess). Is silnylon too thin to put weight on? Anyone know where I could get this stuff or price estimates?
Nov 1, 2011 at 5:15 am #1797337You want a breathable material. 1.1-1.7 nylon ripstop is inexpensive and readily available from a multitude of fabric suppliers, Quest, Seattle Fabrics, Rockywoods, etc…
