It is most irritating when I get spam from a forum member in a personal message.

Member Peter V. just sent me something as a stupid commercial message. That was about some junk that he was trying to sell, and I hadn't inquired.

This kind of action needs to be gone.

better strike your website address from your profile.

but yes very annoying.

I have defenses there, but BPL has a problem with at least one member.

I was a paid member here several years ago, and immediately I started receiving spam, so I quit.

The spammer will try to claim that it was a mistake, or some other such crap.
