my bad. prior to your edit you wrote, '(it is their, not there)' which i assumed was in response to william saying, "there gonna get you." mistakes all around i guess.

anyway, this thread and another recent pack discussion thread got me so curious about the swift that i just ordered one to try it out. can't wait to get it.

Yes – I made an error trying to correct an error. What an error.

Ah yes – the Swift. If it wasn't for your previous post on the Swift I wouldn't be considering buying one. Thanks……

Jason, I received my ULA Circuit and have packed, ( and repacked several times ), and it is a comfortable pack from what I can tell so far. It's listed weight is a touch over the 2 lb mark, I will weigh it later for exact specs, but it will hold a lot of gear, has a nicely padded hipbelt, and fits a bear can fairly well, if that is needed. It does not have any frame sheet for hard items so you have to pack it carefully. I will get more info on it after a test run or two if you would like. I still think you would be fine with either a Swift or an Ohm with no bear can. In my opinion the Swift is more comfortable than the Ohm.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks, this is why I love BPL! I'll be doing a bit of further research over the weekend, including a few try-ons at local shops. Sadly it's difficult to try out the cottage stuff as I'm in Canada, and duty/brokerage on cross-border shipping is exorbitant.

I'm also en route to a summer job in western Canada, so I'll be travelling via the northern US next week. I'll check out a few shops along the way and see what's available.

Hi Jason,

I have a new Swift 10 size medium for sale for $110 which includes free shipping within the U.S. and all paypal fees. If you are interested check out the pics on gear swap. Anyway I'll send you a pm.
