Mt. Diablo SP last Thursday…Not quite Sierra glory but pretty decent. I'm just glad to be out doing something/shaking down my summer Sierra kit:

I guess my point is that this is the season to enjoy the pretty decent bay area day hikes before they all are too dry and hot to enjoy

August 2009. Sardona Alp, CH. My cousin's kids running down toward the lake where we started off the previous day. 24 kilometers; the youngest was 5, the 13 year old did the whole thing barefoot and most of it was rocky…
