Its likely that some kegs that show up full Friday afternoon will be empty by Friday night.
If so, we can refill the empties with water for Saturday.

Ken

I was reading "cook" a little cockeyed ;)

I understand valley people even less, though, if it comes to that, despite living here. My heart has always been in the woods and mountains: I converse with cats and creeks and hummingbirds more freely than with people.

Great idea Cameron.

You and your LOGIC!

I agree….if we can have any containers for hauling water, good thing.

That said, everyone needs to make sure they have enough water for themselves.

And Beer is not a substitute for Water! :)

As for the charcoal….if we are not cooking on it, it made a nice source of heat to warm people's hands last year.

For those of you coming Saturday, we will be driving the support vehicles in on Sat. morning and would like to have time to do some things before you all get there. So 9:30 Sat. Seems good with most. Remember that water is not terribly convenient to camp (downhill as always) so plan on carrying in some for yourselves. I will have some on hand, but with +70 people coming I can't haul in enough for everyone.

2 weeks away. Don't let it catch up with you. I've started packing.

"And Beer is not a substitute for Water! :)"

ummmm yes actually Tony. In ancient times, water was not clean to drink. By making beer or a form of it, people were able to drink beer and stay hydrated versus water. I will search a link for ya. All in fun as I know you were having some fun with Cameron.

We have the water situation handled. Marc Eldridge has offered use of his 75 gallon water bladder. So we will have easily 100 gallons at camp. Thanks everyone.

For those who have not yet made up your minds if you are coming or not. I don't know what you are waiting for. PM me today.
