I'm researching pants like these…wondering how they've done over time, how they have extended your sleeping bags, any downsides to them (uncomfy while sleeping w/ VBL effect?) Thanks.
I just got finished with a pair of down pants for a customer. Using 0.33oz cuben and 4.5oz of 900 fill down, they came out to 6.0oz finished weight!
That means that 75% of the weight is down!
I would be interested in first-hand experiences, also.
