Can someone point to, or give, directions on how to post pictures in the forums.
I messed up a post trying to do it myself, but I guess the moderator deleted it, since we cannot generally delete our own posts.

Directions , please.

Thanks

To upload a pic from your PC:

1. Start a new post.
2. Click the grey "Insert Image at Cursor" button on the upper right corner right above the "Subject" line.
3. A new box will pop up — click "Choose File"
4. Locate your file and click.
5. Give it a short title
6. Click upload — and that should be it.

CAVEAT: There is a file size limit. Can't remember exactly what, but 640k pixel will work whereas a multi-megapixel pic won't.

Thanks, Benjamin!

Not sure if I had to use Flickr or just upload.

Sorry I didn't take into account those who are not mind readers and say that my computer was a PC clone.

F.,

I am a techno-idiot.

But I use Picasa, a free program, and resize the pic to export to my docs, from where it gets browsed to and uploaded.

I also use the junk "forum" that BPL kindly provides to
fool around until I get the pix to come out where I want them.

Also helpful was a thread Sam H. posted on 12/17/09 in the User Test Forum.

Works for me. If only I could learn to take photos.
Sam
