I'm looking for a folding knife with nothing other than a stout 2-3 inch blade and a fold out saw blade. Some of the newer Swiss Army knives come close but no cigar. Anyone seen one?

Google it, hard to come by, just sold some, wish I had seen your post. I'll ask the guy I sold them to if he wants to part with one.
if you cant find the custom bushcrafter, you can always look for a custom swissbianco alox lumberjack.
It's the same thing as the bushcrafter but instead of a reamer, it comes with a bottle cap lifter/screwdriver/can opener combo tool.

I have one in "don't lose me" bright orange…love it. Picked it up round $40 straight from him, but since they are custom run and rare, I've seen them fetch around 100 on ebay and the like. Its uber skinny, as it only has 2 layers, and thin alox handles. Can't remember the weight but it's light enough compared to any other knife with a saw.
He is fully recognized and licensed by Victorinox to make these custom knives. Oftentimes, these knives are built with official victorinox equipment, or even built in the swiss factory itself per his special request. This guy is legit.
My suggestion…go to swissbianco's website, sign up for his newsletter, and pay attention to what he produces, im sure something will come up. You can even shoot him an email on the off chance that he has some left over. He also sells old stock on ebay.
You can try your luck with this current one on ebay, that's listed by him:

Konrad, that's a sweet knife that I've been eyeing for a bit. What does yours weigh?
Hey Travis, I'm in the process of moving apts so unfortunately my scale and knives are packed up in boxes. I'll update with weights in the first week of Sept. Thanks!
+1 on Swiss Bianco. He's doing cool things with Swiss Army knives.
Wenger makes one with blade and saw only, but it is big and relatively heavy at 4oz., the Century with saw: http://www.wengerna.com/century-with-wood-saw-16477
For off the shelf knives, the Victorinox Trekker, Farmer and Hiker models are about as simple as it gets with a saw included. I'd love to see the 111mm frame like the one-handed Trekker/Sentinel with a saw– locking on both items.
If you really want to do some sawing, Gerber makes a large slide-open saw that is 3.5oz and about $12. Google "Gerber Sportsman saw". http://www.countycomm.com/saw.htm
Spyderco offers the Spydersaw (3 oz) but may be difficult to find since it is discontinued.
Saber Cut Survival Saw (4.05 oz)…approx $30
Both work very well. I have used the Saber to saw through 12 inch dia logs in minutes. The web handles on the Saber allow it to be operated by two people at once.
Love the hand saw. Lightweight and cuts through anything I ever need camping or on the trail. I give it a Thumbs up.
Now if they made the One Hand Trekker with a scissor instead of the bottle opener. . . maybe give it glow-in-the-dark scales. . . SWEET!
Edited to add: And lose those stupid serrations!
The make the one-handed trekker with a plain blade. I have one :)
I too would like the scissors. They made a large frame knife with scissors, saw and locking blade, but the model name escapes me at the moment. It was another layer thicker than the trekker as they didn't drop the screwdriver.
I find it easier to just use the trekker and carry a Classic, Leatherman Micra, or my current favorite, the Leatherman Style CS scissors. I used them to cut through 16ga "zipcord" wire the other day and it was like butter.
Just curious as to what people do with a 3 inch saw. I really would like to know. No flaming intended. Bushcraft or ?
I use it for sawing small things. I see it as a survival tool, to cut branches and saplings for shelter building and I don't use it much at all— it's there if I need it. You could baton wedges with a fixed blade knife and accomplish the same thing really. They are sharp and effective, but I wouldn't want to tackle a lot of cutting unless I had too. Gloves would help. They would be handy for those using campfires or wood burning stoves.
I'm generally opposed to using saws and hatchets in terms of leave no trace principles. I've read too many accounts of people wreaking havoc on the woods playing mountain man. Something like cutting boughs for bedding in an emergency is fine with me, but not for regular use. Obviously, it would get out of hand quickly. Bushcraft belongs on private property.
Ken,
It's in the technique. I wouldn't use a 3" saw to cut through a 2' log. What I do is cut a 1/2 inch deep cut on one side. Turn the log/branch over and whack it on a rock or branch directly opposite the cut. The branch should break through cleanly at the cut site.
Much faster and more energy efficient than sawing right through, and cleaner and afer than just snapping.
Thanks for the help guys. The Swissbianco knives look awesome. I'll keep an out for his future releases.
In the meantime I picked up a Benchmade Mini-griptilian with yellow scales. No saw blade but I'll make do for now.
