I would like to find some embroidered backpacking patches to give to members of our group, to commemorate our trip this year.

I have looked on EBay, etc and the prices are a bit stiff. Anyone know of a source for reasonably priced patches?

Thanks,

Z.

Where are you hiking? Many national parks have patches available at their tourist shops.

Otherwise, designing your own patches and having them made does tend to be a bit pricey.

Custom t-shirts and coffee mugs are ironically more affordable… but maybe this is an option:

I have no experience with them, and I also don't know whether their prices are any good, but if it helps, then great! :)

It's cheaper and easier to make your own patches using a dark material t-shirt transfer.

Ken says:

"Those are very cool! Unfortunately I have earned a few of those ;( "

LOL! Haven't we all!

I think it would be fun to award some of these at a get-together after the hike. See everyone's photos, chug a brew or two, and award the demerit badges based on that trip's experiences!

Wonderful !

These are wonderful fun!.

Say, anyone know where to get real merit badges too?

It would be fun to mix in some serious badges with a few of the demerit ones, as well.
