Do the Evernew bottle threads match up with any standard soda/water bottle threads?

I use an Evernew cap on a Smartwater 1 liter bottle — I believe this is a standard thread size. The end result is a very light 1 liter bottle with an attached cap that won't get lost.
I wish Evernew sold the caps separately.
Another question, this one about the Evernew hydration tube.
Does the cap that comes with the hydration tube have a little valve in it to allow air back in (as to not collapse a bottle)?
It looks like there is something on the cap in the pictures.
….and the Frontier filter fits as well.
Ryan, I was wondering the same thing. It looks like there are a few little holes in the cap.
I use the Platy hydration tube with a Cascadia 1L bottle (with an additional length of tubing attached to the underside of the bottle top) and it can be a bit of a pain to leave the cap loose in order to allow it to vent. It leaks a fair amount using it this way.
I have decided to just use the tube in the same manner, but with a regular 1L Platy. There will be no need to leave the cap loose since I can just let the Platy collapse.
Jennifer,
I ordered an Evernew hydration tube and it shipped out today. I will update this thread when it arrives.
I would like to carry a couple of aquafina bottles and just throw the hydration tube on them. If it collapses the bottles, I guess I'm back to the drawing board, or back to the Platys.
Check out the SmarTube. These things are overpriced IMHO, but they do have it all worked out. It comes with caps of two different sizes. It does incorporate a pressure equalization valve. About $15.

I knew somebody would show up with the answer right after I placed an order for something else. :)
The Smartube looks like what I'm looking for. If the Evernew doesnt work out, I'll give it a try. There are a few reviews of the Smartube already on backpackgeartest.com
The SmarTube fits a variety of thread sizes with adaptors. I would guess that it would leak some if the bottle was inverted, as the hose is just pushed through the cap. The Evernew looks superior in it's execution.
I received the Evernew Hydration Tube and so far I am very happy with it. The cap does have a relief valve on it and it marries very nicely with my 1L aquafina bottles.
The package contains:
-Bite valve w/ cover
-Inline on/off valve
-Two "tube keepers"
-Flexible blue tubing
-Cap w/ relief valve
-Thread adapter
-Smaller diameter bottle tube
I am not going to use all of the parts. The two tubes and the cap weigh 1.6 oz. My setup currently looks like:
Platy bite valve -> 6" tube -> Frontier Pro filter -> Evernew tube -> Evernew cap -> bottle.
Works great so far. I plan to leave the Frontier pro semi-permanently connected to my shoulder strap.
