The center pole of my mid kept sinking in loose dirt a couple of weeks ago in the southern Sierra. The Hex 3 pole fits perfectly into this cut-down, spray paint lid. My scale is not fine enough to register the weight.
I used a pair of tin snips to cut through the plastic.
Nice lighter option than a kickstand plate for motorcycles.
Yes, Ken, I saw yours or some other post re the kickstand plate but the one I handled was way too heavy. After touring Home Depot for some other possibility, I came home and the spray paint lid just popped out of nowhere.
