Has anyone used or seen this sleeping pad? It sounds perfect for use in and around Texas. Im also wondering how it would fit in my golite jam. thanks in advance. also, what size BPL pack liner is best for a medium golite jam?

I have the Insulmat Max-Thermo (with a layer of synthetic insulation). Even with the built-in insulation, I need more insulation on <20 F nights. Although it's not ultralight, I find it very, very comfortable and nice to get up off the ground a few inches on a wet night. It's a good compromise between the heavier Thermorest and the bulkier Ridgerest. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't work well with my GG Mariposa pack, which needs pad for support.

Thomas,

I use a BA insulated air core mattress with mummy cut in my GG Mariposa. It works well with a half breath of air and clever folding.

Fold the long (72″) dimension three times so you have an 18″ x 20″ pad. Next rotate the pad and fold it twice. It works really well.
