Thanks, Tom. Just noticed your report on a Superstition wilderness trip and am looking forward to reading it.

Dondo – great report and photos. Makes me want to get out and hike, despite the snow all around.

My favorite line of your report: "The mattress is a full-length POE Eco-Thermo, 20.2 oz. of bedtime bliss. You can have this mat when you pry it from my cold, dead hands."

Every hiker needs to know what gear is non-negotiable, regardless of weight! ~ Carol ~

Thanks, Carol. That's probably the most heartfelt line in the report. ;-)

Nice report. Do you have a remote for your camera or can you really get back into your tent like that within 10 seconds?

Great question, Michael. Believe it or not, that shot was taken with the 10 second timer. I hit the shutter button, sprinted for the unoccupied half of the entrance, dove in, hopped through the two poles onto the mat, and pulled the sleeping bag over me just in time for the shutter to trip.
