Any recipes for steeping or infusing? Create a mildly flavored topping for rice for ex.?

I recently read that vegetable oil is used by trail maintenance crews as an eco-friendly method of lubricating cross-cut saws (so pitch or sap doesn't stick to the blade). So there's another multiple use for olive oil, to keep our wilderness trails logged out!

BTW, minimus.biz sells olive oil in 0.5-oz. (14.7 ml) packets. It's good olive oil, too!

Olive oil works really well if the pump cup on your liquid fueled stove gets dry and won't pressurize your bottle any more. It's also a good lubricant for when you insert the fuel line into the pump so you won't tear the "O" ring.
