No, I did not take those pics, wish I did. I am going back home ( Switz) this summer for 2 weeks and then I will hopefully post my own. Sans cracks.

I would like to hear Jay's reply about Slide Bluffs also.

The dark peak on the horizon (north) is Mount Goddard, so that places this somewhere in Central Kings Canyon.

It's wonderful country anyway.

Hey Richard, That picture is looking out and over the Middle Fork Kings River—The western end of Kings Canyon.

Hey Jay – Thanks for a trip down memory lane. I spent a few nights camped on Pearl Lake long ago. Not that you oculd tell, but my current avatar was taken on the shore of Cathedral Lake.
