    That's the only bit I would argue with. Running wisdom these days *at the State and National level*, is very much along the barefoot lines. Only at the school and little college level do you find coaches who still believe in the Gospel according to Nike.

    PS: I live barefoot, and have done so for the last 10+ years. Before that I went to work in flip-flops.
