How easy is it to dye Cordura on a pack a different color? What product should one use, what application method is best, and can one expect any of the color rubbing off on clothing, etc?

Thanks,

Liquid RIT dye. HOT water. Don't rush. Rinse well. Have fun. I love my black Circuit and Ion

@Ben – actually the pink is starting to bug me.

@Ken
– thanks! With respect to application, since I would be dying the main bag, any issue with the external back padding on the pack? What does one apply the dye with? Sorry – complete newbie here.

David, I used a big lidded plastic bin that fit in my laundry tub in the garage. Used 3 or so gallons of was just boiling water,careful. Poured the water and dye in the tub and stir. Put in the pack. Taking out frame sheet or whatnot. Stir it around. Put the lid on and stir once every five minutes for 20 minutes. Then dump it out and rinse in cold water until clear. This will take a while. Then when that was done, I washed it in our regular front loading washing machine, cold no soap. extra rinse Here is how it turned out on my remodified Ion and my ULA Circuitcircuit and ion Did not dye the ULA badgingclose up circuit Here is the ionremodded ion No problem with dye leakage from the 3d mesh or webbing. I couldn't be happier with the resultscircuit close up

Very nice, Ken! I like how the black dye colored the cordura fabrics — without affecting the ULA Circuit logo.
