I was planning on going with a group this weekend to Canyon Creek Lakes in the Trinity Alps. Plans changed and apparently I'm the only one still interested in going. Any takers? Sorry for the short notice. I was planning on going in on Friday and coming out on Monday.
Well the pack is packed and I got Monday off, now nobody to play with up here. What are my options at this point? Anyone?

Ken, Did you make it to Canyon Creek? I was wondering about hunters and if you came across any. I am thinking of Caribou Lakes next month.
No I did not go this past weekend. Too flippin hot out there. Effecting hunting season too. I know quite a few hunters who have had no luck so far, makes me happy. It is a totally different story today. It has to be 15 degrees cooler and rain on the way. Hoping to try here again real soon. Before it starts snowing up there. I hope!
