Aaron,

I have not done a trip report yet.

Combination of things delaying me, but I have created a monster of my own making.

I took over 1700 photos in the 9 days that it took Jeremy, Cameron, Jay, and I to finish the trip.

We carried no more than 23 lbs at any given time.

It is an insane amount of photos for me to sort through to tell the story.

I hope that in December, I will have time to sort and post up when my wife is on vacation with a friend.

1700 photos–that comes out to 10 photos per mile. Wow.

I had planned on an unsupported record attempt this year on the TRT, but had to scrap those plans due to a broken ankle. So…I'm considering this again for next year on the TRT and plan on doing a few 4 and 5 day thru-hikes for training. If you guys are still considering trying version 2.0 of your trek, let me know and maybe we can get together. At the very least, I do a lot of long day hikes on the trail (40-50 miles), so maybe we could just hook up for a portion.

Adam Bradley, of the PCT speed record fame, lives in Reno and has similar plans to mine. He is usually game for things like this as well.
