I am considering the Baltoro 65L for my upcoming JMT section hike (last section ending at Whitney).
I found one for sale locally (Craigslist) and the price is ~$75-$100 lower than the brand new one, but it is the 2016 model. I am not sure what upgrades were made to the pack between 2016 and 2019. The main factor for me is the suspension and the overall pack comfort when loaded with 6 days of gear+food.
Unless that part has changed (is the Response A3 suspension something that Gregory developed after 2016?), I’d rather save the extra $ and invest it elsewhere.
Does anyone has this information?
