New Tarptents

I just want to confirm the Squall 2 weight. It lists as 34 oz, but in one of the descriptions, it says 32 oz. SO, I'm guessing 34 is with the optional pole and 32 is when you use your trekking pole for support?

Any chance of me having one of these (especially the Scarp 2) for my planned weekend trip on 4/25 – 4/27?

New Squall 2 as delivered:

Tent: 735g (25.93 oz)
Rear pole: 88g (3.1 oz)
Stakes (4 Easton 6"): 40g (1.4 oz) including 1g stuff sack
Tent stuff sack: 17g (0.6 oz)

Total weight (NOT seam-sealed): 880g (31.04 oz)
This requires trekking pole(s) for front support.

Just to add my .02 as well. My Squall 2 with stuff sack, tent, 6 stakes (4-ti-shepard hooks, 2-6" Easton Nails), rear pole and guylines (6) weighs in at 34.85oz (988 g). It is seam sealed and uses trekking poles for support.

It looks like there might be a small variation in weights with the Squall 2, or a difference with scale calibration. Either which way you are still looking at a very good 2 person shelter for 2lbs or less.
