Refuge X setup and questions

good to know, the Refuge X is really tempting me. I may spring for one when the next batch is released

Peter, the best thing about waitning for the next batch is that we will hopefully sort out issues to do with setup, durability and field performance. You may change your mind after all that, or Ron may make design changes if needed, or it may be a perfect all round minimalist UL tent. I've finally seam-sealed it with a nice thick layer of Seam Grip, so that should beef up the seams a lot.

Great thread from 6 weeks ago. I wonder if any of you have had the opportunity to experience this tent in more severe conditions since this post…e.g. heavy wind or rain?

Is this the tent for me? In pure weight savings, I would say yes. Although, it's pricey, so sharing your experiences with this product prior to purchase may sway me one way or the other.
