Try Oware.

I have an old GoLite 11 x 8 tarp, and I really love it.
Great service and products.
The Jacks R Better 10' x 11' sylnylon tarp is pretty good also. 18 oz.
John
p.s. is this for Philmont? I'm taking mine to use there.
Dan Cooke sews largely for the canoe trekker market. His Tundra Tarps have evolved to meet the needs of folks on multi week/month trips north of the treeline and are as bombproof as you can make without weight penalty. Nicely featured too.
p.s. I used a MYOG knockoff of his 10×10 tarp for the crew tarp at Philmont last year …. very nice.
You don't mention if you are looking for the lightest possible weight, or want to trade off some weight for a more durable, better outfitted tarp. There are several large silnylon tarps for canoe camping (including Cooke's).
Piragis has some:

MEC has some too:

I don't currently own any of these, but have looked and will probably pick one for canoe camping one of these years.
