San Gorgonio Peak via Vivian Creek Trail I'm trying to decide whether to do it as a 1 day trip out and back or a short overnight staying at High Creek Camp. My main concern is the water situation. Has anyone been up there recently? How much should I expect to carry? Any other thoughts about recent conditions? Thanks in advance.
No recent fire damage along that trail? You won't be alone.
Posted on the San G board on August 9th (http://members.boardhost.com/sgva/msg/1439156477.html): "There's water at Vivian and High Creek. Both are dependable. Halfway is dry to at least a quarter mile above the trail."
