Does anyone know if you can use the 20% off one full priced item online and in-store or is it just once?

In the past, I've used the same code on more than one online order. I don't know if REI has since "fixed" that.

Matt, I've bought something at the store, then raced home and placed an online order before the computer caught on. I even used to be able to place two different online orders (log out, then log back in), but when I tried that during the last winter 20% sale it only worked once. We're cheap, opportunistic sleaze-balls, no?

Cheaters shouldn't prosper. This how policy gets changed.

I've changed my ways, Ken. I already have one of everything they sell, and now I just use my coupon to buy fuel canisters, one by one.

And.. virtually ever other BP site is also having a 20% sale. So, if you need a few items , just shop around..

During dividend season, I used the code twice on two full priced items, two different orders. Then, as a test, I tried using the coupon on an outlet item, and it rejected it. So, perhaps the actual online redemption rule is "two uses only," regardless of full price vs. outlet. It's worth a try and I, at least, didn't feel like I was abusing the deal, but that's for each to decide on his or her own.
