My tears of course. Fred Abernathy has the leg before me. It's his job to hand me the bucket and ensure that I'm properly offended before I run my leg.

He's keeping it a surprise but rumor has it that he's going to talk $%!+ about .51oz cuben fiber.

Stay hydrated then and you'll do fine, you big crybaby. Time for puppies and rainbows later. Stay focused.

Thanks again to everyone. Even the ones who are non plussed with me, but have written.

Thank you Ken for clearing this up, at least for me. I had not planned on going to an official gathering this year, thought something happened, of which I was clueless.
Yep, in my few years of finally being able to go on hikes with others besides one of my dogs, I've seen friends organize trips with people they feel close to, instead of a mass invite. Unfortunately, a few people other than ones I've known a few years now, express the desire to get together, but life gets in the way. So after a few invites, I stop inviting. So back to solo bping, up here in the N Sierra. The coast has been nice on the few motorcycle trips I've been on with a friend, who has a girlfriend now, so back to solo rides if at all. Life, jeez!

If you haven’t seen or taken this little survey, please do. Planning the next one with David.

Hi All,

I'm kind of late to pitch in here, but just wanted to say again that I enjoyed organizing and attending the event at Samuel P. Taylor. It was good to hear from Ken and I'm glad we're working together to organize GGG #8. Looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones, and drooling over cool gear next year.

Based on survey results so far, it looks like we'll be doing a hike-in event in 2016. We could do Henry Coe again, but the location is up for nomination. Any suggestions for a place big enough to hold 75-100 trekkers?
