I couldn't deal with 21 ounces of light and battery on my helmet. If you could get a longer cable to allow for remote battery placement it might lighten up things but the four lights spread might be too wide cycling.

I bike and ski with more than ample light from an older Metal Halide model and I've been impressed by the minewt x2.

I agree with the 21 oz, but I would mount it.
