I'm sorry but that thing looks like one of those mini backpack purses women used to wear in the 90s.

getting to be a lot of running packs on the market, which is a good thing if you're a runner :)

having owned a dozen or so running packs a few things jump out at me, sternum straps are not adjustable up/down- this is very advantageous for getting a good fit in my experience

it could use more pockets on the front (vest portion), I haven't owned a running pack that had too many pockets up front

15 liters is getting a little on high side of volume w/o a belt imo, gets too much swaying w/o a belt, 5 liters or less it's generally not a problem (usually not enough weight at the volume to be a problem)

Yeah, but so do many packs up to 25L for those who have longish torsos. That's why the pack makers need to get off their collective rears as there is* longer rainwear, other clothing, and shelters to pack too. More for discussion than anything (my fleet of Zimmerbuilts have my pack needs covered)

* or should be.

Any other feedback on this pack? I'm looking for a day pack in the 15-20l range. I plan to mostly use it for hiking, perhaps a bit of trail running. I would also use it on my bike around town when I don't need my standard 25-30l of capacity.

Patagonia also makes a running vest, a style that seems popular now. I suppose it could work but I think 10l is too small for my needs.

Sean,
The REI Stoke 19 might fit your needs.
