I’m contemplating some UL quilts, specifically the zpacks solo quilt.
When I compare the down fill weights to my current Hammock Gear quilts, zpacks has 2-3oz less down than HG 20 or 30*.
I find the HG ratings to be conservative “comfort” ratings. As in I’ve had my 20* down to about 25 and was tooooasty warm, not even slightly cold with only 250 merino LS shirt and pants.
How does zpacks compare in your experience? Are their temp rating closer to Comfort or Lowet Limit ratings?
