There’s a guy in my neighborhood that is selling what he thinks is a Zpacks hexamid solo plus (hasn’t been backpacking in a while)…

It looks like there are a lot of different variations of this tent (with bug net/ without)?

The gentleman has the tarp + the bathtub ground cloth + stakes/carbon pole/stuff stack that he would sell to me for 175.

Does anyone know the specs on this? I’ve found stuff online…but it’s a little all over the place…

Can you describe what is there in more detail, including more photos and sizes. The solo plus is right on the zpacks website, so you can compare for yourself.

The solo plus is a groundsheet, so you would need to pair it with a tarp, or maybe he already has (e.g. a hexamid tarp).

Or if it meets your needs, don’t worry about the name, just buy it. But I would definitely recommend pitching it first so you can really see what you have.

That’s the shelter. Thanks for the link Brad….so it’s +/- 7 oz  for the tarp and then another 3.5 for the  bathtub ground cloth….he lives down the street from me so it’s really just a matter of stopping by and taking a look…. I’ve been wanting to get a pocket tarp and this kind of fits the bill…..

That’s perfect. A few holes can be patched easily, micro holes from wear and peeling seam tape are another story.
