Has anyone been able to reduce the weight of a Dyneema Arc Haul, and if so, How?

I know 24 oz is light, but I’m interested in finding a minimum for the 62L pack

Hmm…

Short answer: No

I looked over mine and there isn’t a whole lot of  — make that any — faff on there, and all the optional stuff is easily removable anyway.

I bought an older style Arc Blast (to go with my other, older-style Arc Blast), and the guy I bought it from got it with the optioinal load lifters, which I very slowly and carefully removed with an X-Acto knife, because I know from experience that for me they are absolutely not necessary with this pack.

However, with the Arc Haul, I think the load lifters and the vertical shoulder strap adjusters are very much needed and are sewn in in such a way as to make it nigh impossible to remove them.

Just curious-are your suspension struts (the arc part) carbon fiber or fiberglass?

The newer ones are fiberglass. I don’t know which weighs less. Or if there’s a performance difference.
Removing the top and bottom strap, taking off the side compression straps, breaking off the associated linelocs, and snipping the straps to shorter lengths would all save weight. But not much.
