Hey BPL folk,
Z Packs UL Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles are BOGO today. Can anyone advise if they make a buzzing sound when they are planted? Anything other than silent, like a one piece pole (BD Distance Carbon), is a deal breaker for me. I’ve already returned several!

Mine are aluminum, not CF, and they’re almost 10 years old. They’re fixed-length and the little buttons that allow them to collapse have been frozen for years. But they’re dead silent on the plant.
I have a few complaints about them, but noise is not one of them.
