I need to buy 4 AA rechargeable batteries for tea Motorola walkie talkies.
AND should I get NiMH or Ni Cad? The charger will accept both.

Eneloop pro
Definitely NiMH rather than Ni Cad. Eneloops are excellent but I have found the Ikea NiMH rechargables work very well and are at an excellent price point.

It was built by Toshiba, became Sanyo ( where they made the Eneloop) and then FDK
FDK is Fujitsu.(Fuji Denki Tsūshin Kiki Seizō)
There is a very good chance that the IKEA batteries as well as the current Eneloop are made there.
OK, EneLoop it is. Been looking online and that is one of the most recommended NiMH batteries.
