yet another gravity filter thread

Hi everyone,

I’ve got a question about where to place a carbon element in my gravity filter set ups.  I use either a rapidpure scout or a Sawyer squeeze depending on the size of the group I have with me (between 10-25)

my thoughts were to place the carbon before the filter to act as both a pre filter and to absorb some of the tanins in a lot of the water around here.

Does anyone see a problem?
