Hello all,
This is my first time visiting and backpacking in Yellowstone so any advice or input would be appreciated. During my research I’ve been hearing about shuttle services costing $400. Are there any other options that I don’t know about? We are reluctant to plan anything that’s not a loop or out and back due to the cost and lack of availability.
Also regarding the backcountry campsites. It seems like the this park only allows one group for each backcountry campground. I’m used to California’s backcountry campgrounds where each one can accommodate multiple groups.
Right now we are planned a 3 night loop around Crescent Lake, and then another 4-5 day out and back to Wapiti Lake.
