Have any guys had any experience backpacking in the Wyoming Range?  Looks like a promising place to backpack with more solitude than the neighboring Winds.  Less than a four hour drive from my house to Big Piney close to the southern end of the Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail.

Went there last year to de-compress on the way home after a Winds backpack. Some of the best car camping of the summer, very quiet, beautiful river, altogether a great experience! Came in from the east, exited at Salt Pass I think it’s called, spent three nights.

Hiked the highest peak, Wyoming Pk. via the west side trail.

Looks to be decent mountain biking, too. For backpacking I would think it could be a little too compact of an area. Maybe a 2-3 day trip?
