Has anyone hiked from the east end of Boulder Lake up the hill to the Burnt Lake Trail? 
… or from Burnt to Boulder?
Is it scrub, forest, meadow, deadfall?

I hiked down the the red line coming from up north 2 years ago. I think that area was forested. It was kind of a blur going through there. It had rained constantly for 2.5 days and we were hightailing it to the truck. It was raining and blowing so hard that when I got out of the camper shell in dry clothes, I was wet before I could get in the cab. If you see any 10′ skid marks on that trail, that was probably me. :) I’d normally have pictures of the area but I kept my camera away and protected the last 2 days. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
