I know, not a backpacking light topic, but I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I am looking for a 22-25 inches wide self inflating sleeping pad, short length. Weight does not matter, but I would prefer to keep it under 2 inches thick. The intended use is sleeping in the back of my 4×4 when I am in the boonies.
- Self inflating because a) weight does not matter b) they are far more comfortable than any inflatable pad I have ever tried c) more compact when I need them out of the way that a sheet of memory foam
- Wide because elbows dropping below body level on a 20 inch pad is very uncomfortable for me
- Short because I have a self inflating leveling mat in the trunk area of the vehicle and I would like this to occupy as little space as possible during the day without me having to deflate it and roll it up.
Have searched for about a week now without much success. Any pointers would be appreciated.
