Did the SMD wild oasis/Gatewood /Luner solo design come around B4 or after the hexamid solo? Are these the first tents of this style made or were there others before? I was around back when they came out but back then I had long term commitments to my heavier gear. I realize there were pyramids prior to this but these were the first I remember seeing that made the back and ends out of one sheet of fabric and the doors seamed on the front, tiny mids with few seams.
